Friendship Adult Day Horticulture Grant

New Leaf awarded a $1,000 grant to the Friendship Adult Day Services Therapeutic Garden. This component of the program consists of monthly sessions with nature activities that relate to the clients’ goals & objectives. New Leaf’s grant assisted with the purchase of tools and gardening supplies.

The goals of this program are to:

• Increase Sensory Awareness
• Promote Socialization with Peers
• Maintain Muscle Flexibility
• Foster Leisure Activities
• Provide Learning Opportunities
