Public Art Initiative

Annual
Through this project, New Leaf Society is attempting to annually contribute to public art. We are forming partnerships with City of Burlington, Burlington Downtown Corporation, and Alamance County Arts Council and other agencies to establish artwork county-wide.
11 sculptures were purchased at the annual 2012 Willow Walk. These sculptures and an additional two — on loan through the Arts Council — will be displayed downtown.

Community Public Art pieces purchased at Willow Walk 2014
At the 2014 Willow Walk a number of pieces were gifted to municipalities through funds from New Leaf Society, as well as our other partners: Alamance County Arts Council, Glen Raven, Inc., Alamance County Conventions & Visitors Bureau, and Carolina Biological Supply.
