This project, designed by Tom Flood, added new plantings and median enhancements to the islands along W Davis Street. Twenty-three unhealthy crape myrtles were removed, and new plantings were installed by Living Landscapes. Plants included 'Rising Sun' redbuds, ‘Liberty’ holly, Nuttall oaks, ‘Vintage Jade’ distylium, Crape myrtles, varigated liriope, ‘Little Spire’ Russian sage, buddleia (butterfly bush), Encore ‘Autumn Rouge’ azaleas, and ‘Knock Out’ Roses.
