In 2024, NLS worked with Alamance Community College and NCDOT to clear and replant several feet of vegetation along NCDOT’s right-of-way at the eastbound exit ramp. The contractor was Complete Lawn. For this project, hydrangeas and magnolias were added to an existing bed, while new beds were created for young pines and crape myrtles. The college maintains the site as an appealing gateway to the campus.
